BRAMPTON, ONTARIO – The Utica Comets of the American Hockey League have recalled defenseman Matt Petgrave from his loan with the Brampton Beast of the ECHL.

Petgrave, 27, has played in 41 games this season for the Beast, recording seven goals and 26 assists for 33 total points. 

He’s suited up in two games for the Comets this season and went pointless through both contests. The smooth-skating defenseman has prior Comets experience and skated in 12 games for the club this past year.

The Beast are back in action on Tuesday when they take on the Maine Mariners at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine. Puck drops at 7:00 PM
