It is our top priority is to provide safe and world class experiences for all fans at Brampton Beast Hockey games. The CAA Centre carefully follows the direction of local and national security agencies and continuously evolves strategies and procedures based on their guidance and information.
Fans will notice a couple new security measures at the CAA Centre this year, including a new bag check policy and an update on in and out privileges. For hockey games at the CAA Centre, doors open 1 hour prior to puck drop. Fans are reminded to please plan ahead and utilize early entry times to ensure they won’t miss any exciting action on the ice. CAA Centre only allows handbags, purses, or baby bags into the venue. We recommend you leave backpacks, luggage or other large bags at home or in your car. All bags are subject to search before being allowed entry.
In an effort to expedite entry, fans are encouraged to arrive early and travel light. Please have your tickets ready to be presented to event staff positioned at the entrances. For your safety and comfort the following items are prohibited from entering the CAA Centre:
· Food or beverages purchased outside of the CAA Centre
· Bottles, Cans, Coolers
· Alcohol
· Cannabis
· Illegal substances
· Airhorns, whistles, laser pointers
· Bicycles, skateboards, inline skates, wheel shoes, etc.
· Animals not registered as service animals
· Professional photography, video and audio recording devices, unless pre-approved. Effective at the beginning of the 2019-20 season, there was no re-entry to the CAA Centre. Fans attending events will be able to smoke outside of the venue before and after events only. You will not be able to leave the venue to smoke and re-enter.The Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 prohibits the smoking of tobacco, the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) to vape any substance, and the smoking of cannabis (medical or recreational) in enclosed workplaces and enclosed public places, as well as other designated places in Ontario, to protect workers and the workers and the public from second-hand smoke and vapour.Smoking refers to the smoking or holding of lighted tobacco or cannabis (medical or recreational).
Vaping refers to inhaling or exhaling vapour from an electronic cigarette, or holding an activated electronic cigarette, whether or not the vapour contains nicotine.Smoking and vaping is not permitted on the outdoor grounds of community recreational facilities or in public spaces within 20 metres of the perimeter of the grounds.Re-entry exceptions, such as emergencies, childcare or medical reasons, will be determined on a case-by-case basis by event staff and security
