BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - The Utica Comets of the American Hockey League have released forward Matt McLeod from his PTO. He will return to Brampton of the ECHL.
McLeod, 23, is currently in the midst of his first professional season with the Brampton Beast. The speedy forward has accumulated three goals and six total points over the course of 26 games.
The Mississauga native also played four seasons for Canisius College prior to turning pro this season.
Brampton is in Reading to face the Royals tonight and will head home for our Pucks and Paws game on Sunday. Puck drop for Saturday is 7:00 PM and Sunday's game will take place at 4:00 PM.
