BRAMPTON, ONTARIO – The Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League have loaned forward Francois Beauchemin and defenseman Trent Bourque to the Brampton Beast of the ECHL.
Bourque, 21, brings a physical presence to the blueline. The Burlington native has suited up in 15 games this season with Brampton and has tallied five assists.
The former Owen Sound Attack defender has three games experience with Belleville this season and went pointless over that span while recording two penalty minutes.
Beauchemin, 23, returns from Belleville where he has put up one assist in five games played. The Quebec native has been productive with Brampton this season and has scored nine goals and 12 points in 13 total games. He’s also recorded six penalty minutes over that span.
The Beast are back in action at home today taking on the Reading Royals for the second straight day. Puck drops at 2:00 PM.
