NOTE: Live commentary will not begin until 15 minutes before puck drop.

TODAY'S GAME: The Brampton Beast, the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, are hoping to get back to their winning ways as they head to Indianapolis to face the Indy Fuel. The Beast had a five-game winning streak snapped yesterday in Kalamazoo.

FUELLING OUR HOT START: The Beast and the Fuel have already met three times thus far this season and the Beast have won each of those three games in regulation time, including one game in Brampton (6-3 W on Dec. 7) and twice in Indy (3-1 W on Dec. 20 and 5-4 W on Dec. 22).

CARRYING THEIR WEIGHT: Luke Pither and David Vallorani enter today's game as the club's hottest players against Indy this season. In the three games against the Fuel, both Pither (4G, 2A) and Vallorani (2G, 4A) have recorded six points. Defenseman Willie Corrin (3A) and David Pacan (3G) are all averaging a point-per-game against the Indy Fuel.

BIG BEAST MILESTONE: Forward David Pacan became just the fifth member of the Beast to record 20 goals in a season with his shorthanded tally against Kalamazoo. It took the Ottawa native 30 games to reach the milestone.

IN GOOD STANDING: Through 30 games played, the Beast are currently ranking second in the North Division with an 18-9-1-2 record. Their 39 points ranks them second in the division behind only the Manchester Monarchs (20-8-1-1, 42 points).

DECEMBER TO REMEMBER: The Brampton Beast ended the month of December with 11 victories, the most the franchise has ever collected in a single month. The Beast finished their December schedule with a 11-3 record. Prior to December 2016, the most wins this franchise recorded in one month was six in November 2015.

BRING ON THE ROAD: Today's game marks the end of what could be considered one of the most successful road trips in team history. The Beast are 5-1 in the first six games of a seven game road trip and outscored their opponents 22-12 in the process.
