Top 10 Moments of the 2016-17 Season So Far - #2

12/30/2016 10:30 AM -

2. The Beast win five straight regular season games for the first time in franchise history.

This month truly has been a December to remember as the Beast have skated to an overall record of 7-2, and they achieved their longest winning streak in club history. Prior to earning five straight wins from December 4-15, this franchise’s longest run of consecutive wins was three.

With the exception of their 6-3 win over the Indy Fuel on December 7, every single triumph came against fellow North Division clubs. David Vallorani launched this glorious stretch by notching the overtime dagger against the Elmira Jackals, Zach Fucale stopped a combined 70 of 74 shots in back-to-back 4-2 wins against the Wheeling Nailers and Pacan mesmerized the Powerade Centre crowd with his natural hat trick against the Adirondack Thunder.

New Beast forwards Vallorani, Pacan, and second-year skater Luke Pither, were the chief heroes during the streak on the attacking side of the puck while Beast goaltender Zachary Fucale and rearguards Tim Billingsley and Jordan Henry led in the defensive zone.

While the players listed above are the standouts, ever player on this team deserves kudos for this glorious stretch of Brampton Beast hockey. The team as a whole is shining on offense, on defense, on special teams, and displaying a pure desire to win night after night.
