Top 10 Moments of the 2016-17 Season So Far - #7

7. The Beast Host Three Exciting School Day Games with One More on the Way!

Do yourself a favour and come be a part of the spectacle of a Brampton Beast school day game if you have work off that day. The atmosphere at the three matinee matches held up until now have proven to be absolutely incredible.

The 5,000 Peel Region students filling the stands at each of these games have truly been the seventh man on the ice as their enthusiasm has inspired the Beast to a perfect record of three wins and no losses. Their cheering reaches a fever pitch while both teams are warming up and it does not die down.

The Beast's first School Day game was on December 1. The Beast trumped the Quad City Mallards by a score of 4-3.

The Beast were even more dominate in their second School Day game! The team dominated the Indy Fuel by a score of 6-3.

In the Beast's third School Day game David Pacan notched a natural hat-trick, leading the Beast to a 5-2 win over the Adirondack Thunder.

Undoubtedly, the singular most special moment of these school day games occur during the singing of the Canadian national anthem. The organ accompanies the children during the first few notes of “O, Canada,” but then becomes silent to let a goose-bump inducing, acoustic version of the anthem, performed entirely by the kids, take center stage.

The team's next School Day game is on February 28, 2017.
