NOTE: Live commentary will not begin until 15 minutes before puck drop.

TODAY'S GAME: The Brampton Beast, the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, are looking to sweep their two-game home series against the Wheeling Nailers, and to also win four straight regular season games for the first time in their ECHL history.

POTENT ATTACKERS: David Pacan and David Vallorani are continuing to lead the way offensively for the Beast. Both first-year Beast snipers have 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points in 20 games. They are tied for 10th in ECHL scoring. They each scored on Friday night against Wheeling.

HOT GOALTENDING: Beast goaltender Zach Fucale is on a roll heading into the rematch against the Nailers. The 21year-old has posted an impressive 2.32 GAA and .926 SV% in his last three starts. His 34-save performance against the Nailers on Friday night earned him second star honours. He hasn't allowed more than three goals in a game since Nov. 18 and has won each of his last four starts.

DOMINANT SPECIAL TEAMS:  The Brampton Beast power play and penalty kill has been clicking during this three-game winning streak. The man advantage unit has struck for four goals on 10 chances (40 percent), and the penalty kill unit has shut down 12 of 13 opposition power-play chances.

HEATING UP: 2015-2016 Brampton Beast Top Goal Scorer Chris Auger is starting to heat up. He scored two goals on Friday night, including the game-winning goal, to propel the Beast to a big win over Wheeling. The 28-year-old has three points in his last two games and has two multi-goal games already this season.

MILES AHEAD: The dynamic Beast offense has lit up opposition netminders for 81 goals in their first 21 games of the season, a total of 26 more than the 55 they scored after the same amount of games in 2015-16. It took the Beast until their 30th game last season to reach the 81-goal plateau.

LOOKING FOR A GAP: The Beast can open up three points of breathing space between them and the Nailers in the North Divison standings with a win this afternoon. Brampton enters today's game with 25 points and the Nailers have 24. Wheeling has one game in hand over Brampton.
