BRAMPTON, ONTARIO –The Brampton Beast, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens, announce today that Connor Crisp’s terrific play has earned him a callup to the the AHL’s St. John IceCaps.
Crisp, 22, has played in three AHL contests this season with the IceCaps and has yet to record a point.
The Aliston, Ontario product has found a way to be an impact player in each game he has played for Brampton. He maintained a point-per-game average throughout his two stints with the Beast by scoring three goals and three assists in six games. In addition to finding the scoresheet consistently, the imposing 6’3, 220-pound forward has provided a solid physical presence in all three zones every single match.
His last game with the Beast was his most impressive as he scored two goals and registered an assist for a three-point night against the Orlando Solar Bears on November 28.
