NOTE: Live commentary will not begin until 15 minutes before puck drop.

TODAY'S GAME:  The Beast are looking to set a new ECHL franchise-high record of four consecutive wins and take the first game in a home-on-home series against the Nailers. Brampton is also seeking their third straight victory in regulation time.

UP THE LADDER: A win will catapault the Brampton Beast into a tie for second place in the North Division with the idle Manchester Monarchs. The Beast, with 13 points, trail  the Monarchs who have 15 points. However, the Beast have only played nine games, while the Monarchs have played 12.

STREAKS GALORE: Team Captain Brandon Marino now has points in each of his team's last eight games after being kept off the scoreboard in the season opener. Marino earned three assists on Friday night, and now has three goals and 10 assists for 13 points during his streak.Yannick Veilleux also upped his point streak to seven games. He has four goals and six assits during this run. Brandon MacLean has also found the scoresheet in three straight games with two goals and two helpers over that span.

PENALTY KILLING PROWESS: The Beast penalty kill is starting to roll as the club has killed off seven out consecutive opposition power plays. The team's PK units were a perfect 3-for-3 against the Jackals on Friday night.

ELECTRIC OFFENCE: The Beast have made it clear through nine games that they are more than a one-line club. There have been at least three different goal scorers for the Beast in each of the past eight games. The Beast's 4.11 goals for average is the highest in the league. Every player on today's active roster has already scored a goal this season.

ENDING A DROUGHT: The Beast will look to earn their first home win against the Nailers since January 18, 2015. Wheeling has rattled off five consecutive wins at the Powerade Centre. Brampton won the first 2016-17 matchup by downing the Nailers 3-2  at WesBanco Arena.

EVEN STRENGTH EXCELLENCE: The Beast's five-on-five play has propelled them to four wins in their last five games as they have outscored their opponents 22-12 in this situation.
