NOTE: Live commentary will not begin until 15 minutes before puck drop.

TODAY'S GAME: The Beast hope to keep the momentum rolling as they kick off their home schedule against the Toledo Walleye on Friday. The Beast opened the season with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Wheeling Nailers last Saturday night.

OPENING NIGHT VICTORY: The Beast won their first game of the season 3-2 in overtime over the Wheeling Nailers, marking the first time in ECHL franchise history that that the club skated away with a win on Day 1. In each of the last two seasons, it took the Beast seven games to find their first 'W'.

STARTING STRONG: 2015-16 Beast Offensive Player of the Year Luke Pither certainly lived up to his award on Opening Night, netting a pair of goals and adding an assist to lead the team in points with three after one game. Newcomer David Vallorani had two points (1G, 1A) in his first game as a member of the Beast.

PK FIRE: In their Season Opener, the Beast finished the game a perfect 4-for-4 on the penalty kill and hope to continue the trend tonight against Toledo

D'AGOSTINI UNDEFEATED: Beast netminder Andrew D'Agostini made 25 saves to pick up his first win of the season. Including his two games played at the end of the 2015-16 season, D'Agostini is now 3-0-0-0 in his career with the Beast and has yet to allow more than two goals in a game while wearing a Beast uniform.

TOUGH OPPONENT: Last season, the Beast were in tough against the Toledo Walleye, playing them 11 times and skating away with a 2-8-0-1 record. The good news is that the two Beast wins against Toledo both came at home at the Powerade Centre.

A NIGHT OF FIRSTS: During the club's Season Opener against Wheeling, David Vallorani (1G, 1A) and Yannick Veilleux (1A) recorded their first ever points as a member of the Beast and Chris Leveille (1A) recorded his first ever ECHL point.
