Top 10 Moments of the 2015-16 Season - #1

07/12/2016 8:18 AM -

On Wednesday, March 9, 2015, Brampton Beast fans, staff and players were in attendance at Brampton City Hall to celebrate what could be considered the most important moment in Beast franchise history.

Brampton City Council voted 8-2 in favour of a new partnership deal between the City of Brampton and the Beast, effectively keeping the team in Brampton.

This new partnership will be beneficial to both the City of Brampton and the Beast in a multitude of ways. Not only will the Beast be showcasing the City of Brampton both at home, at the Powerade Centre, and across the Unites States, but the partnership allows for the opportunity to provide tickets to less fortunate families to give them an unforgettable night out, many of whom would otherwise not have the opportunity.

Brampton Beast President and General Manager Cary Kaplan made the following statement on the City of Brampton’s approval of a multi-year partnership with the team.

“Today marks a historic day for the Brampton Beast and the City of Brampton.  Today the City has joined forces as a true and significant partner with the Brampton Beast and as a result, it solidifies the team’s standing in the ECHL.” He added, “We would like to formally acknowledge and thank Brampton City Council and City Staff for their tireless efforts in making this possible.  This partnership also would not exist had it not been for the Beast’s fans and corporate partners, many of whom went out of their way to voice their support in recent days during this process.”

‘Beast Authentics’ is a one-of-a-kind game-used memorabilia program designed to offer fans the opportunity to own a piece of Beast history in the form of a variety of exciting game-used artifacts, including goal-scored pucks, game-worn jerseys and more.

To commemorate these Beast moments, today’s Feature Item is a game-used puck used by Brandon Marino to score a goal during the 2015-16 season and is available for only $20.
