Beast Unlace Their Skates and Tie up Their Aprons in Support of Multiple Sclerosis

The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John’s IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens are partnering with Kelsey’s and the MS Society, Peel-Dufferin Chapter in support of their Brampton Mandarin MS WALK. Join us on Tuesday, March 8 at Kelsey’s located on 70 Quarry Edge Drive, Brampton to help the Brampton Beast find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

Fifteen per cent of all meals ordered between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM will be donated to the MS Society, Peel Dufferin Chapter. Beast players will also be making an appearance between the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and are going to be assisting Kelsey’s servers wait on tables and serving meals.

There will be a silent auction where you will have a chance to take home great prizes including a team signed stick and suite to go to a Beast game! Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to win exclusive Beast merchandise by popping a balloon for $2.00.

The Brampton Mandarin MS WALK will be taking place on May 1. Starting at Heart Lake Secondary School, participants may choose to walk four kilometers, seven kilometers or 10 kilometers along the Etobicoke Creek Trail.  Donations benefit local people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and national research to find a cause and cure for the disease.

Founded in 1948, the MS Society funds research to find an end to Multiple Sclerosis. The society receives little to no funding from the government and relies on fundraising events, public awareness campaigns and social action activities. With tens of thousands supporters from individuals, companies and foundations, the Brampton Beast are proud to contribute to the Multiple Sclerosis community and help them find a cure.

The Beast will try to make it two wins in a row on Friday, March 4 as they host the Elmira Jackals at the Powerade Centre at 7:15 PM. Single game tickets are now available, starting at $16.25.
