BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John’s IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that top-pair defenseman Jeremie Blain has been recalled to the American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves.
Blain, 23, is one of just three Beast skaters to suit up for all 31 games played to date this season. He has quickly emerged as one of the ECHL’s top offensive defenseman, netting a pair of goals and adding 20 assists for 22 points, tied for the fifth highest total of all ECHL defensemen.
