Kapalka, Stajan Released

BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John’s IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that forward Thomas Stajan and goaltender Kevin Kapalka have been released from their contracts.


Stajan, a Mississauga, Ontario native, played in four games for the Beast and was held pointless while recording a +1 rating.


Kapalka, also from Mississauga, served as the Beast’s backup goaltender for four games but did not see any game action.



The Beast are back in action at the Powerade Centre on Thursday night at 7:15 PM to face the visiting Adirondack Thunder. Single game tickets are now available, starting at $16.25. Trial Packs for the 2015-16 season are also available starting at $39.99 that include three game tickets.
