The Brampton Beast are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Flag this Family Day Monday, February 16 with the unveiling of their "Canada-themed" Red-and-White Alternate Jerseys. Unique to the Beast with iconic 1970s Summit Series styling, these jerseys are sure to be a fan favorite as the new official alternates for the only Canadian team in the ECHL.
The Beast will also be welcoming Boomer’s family to town for the second annual Mascot Day at the Powerade Centre. The Beast will be hosting their Central-Division rival, the Tulsa Oilers, for the first of a two-game series that is sure to be a tightly contested battle as both teams try to make up ground in the Central’s tense playoff race.
After organizing the first Mascot Game last year, where Boomer’s friends from all over the GTA came for some good, old-fashioned fun (including mascots from Tim Hortons, Toys R Us and Sparky the Fire Dog from the Brampton Fire Department) the Beast are excited to carry on the tradition with a mascot game during intermission as well as other fun-filled activities for families throughout the concourse.
New this year, there will be a meet and greet with all of Boomers friends, and fans will have the opportunity to play games and other activities with the mascots! Some of those in attendance this year will include the Brampton A’s mascot Gus the Bulldog, Chuck E. Cheese, Psycho the Cyclops, Louie the Lockmonster, and Tucker the Turfdog from C Lax. Additionally, fans are invited to bring their skates and helmet to participate in a free skate with the team following the conclusion of the Beast game!
For even bigger savings, the Beast will be offering a Family Day package that includes a ticket to the game, a food voucher, a mini stick and a chuck-a-puck for an incredibly low price of only 24.95 plus tax! Tickets can be purchased online at bramptonbeast.com or by calling 905-564-1684.
