LAST TIME OUT: The Beast were able to record their first road victory of the season in a tense game in Rapid City on November 26, with rookie Tyson Fawcett scoring the game-winning goal for the Beast, his second point of the night, with just 1:32 remaining in the 4-3 victory. Jason Dale, Chad Painchaud and Mathew Maione also scored for the Beast, while Elgin Reid had two assists. Trevor Cann recorded 32 saves for his third win of the year. Making Up Ground: With Wednesday's win the Beast sit just one place and two points back of the Rush in the ECHL’s Western Conference, with four games in hand

Cann the Man: Trevor Cann’s 289 saves so far this season places him 6th in the ECHL in that category with less GP than all five goaltenders in front of him

Clutch Performers: Brampton has a .750 winning percentage in the extra frame with two OT wins, one SO win, and one OT loss (7 of 8 possible points)

Blueline Boys: The Beast currently have 4 defensemen who are scoring at a 0.33 PPG pace or better, 2 of which are rookies (Mathew Maione, Brayden Rose)

BEAST: 2-4-0 when scoring first, 2-3-1 when conceding first goal
RUSH: 5-2-1 when scoring first, 0-8-0 when conceding first goal

The Beast have taken 141 shots in the first, more than any other period, but have only 6 goals (4.29% shooting percentage)
