BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Beast are encouraging fans, partners and season seat holders to join them in the spirit of the holidays and help support the local community by decorating the Powerade Centre this upcoming December.
It will be an invasion of pine trees and ornaments as any group, from individuals and families to local businesses, community and corporate partners can purchase a space on the Powerade Centre concourse to set up their own tree and decorations. Spaces will be available for $100, with the proceeds being donated to families in need in the Peel region during the holiday season. The trees will be displayed for the entire month of December, including home games against the Wichita Thunder, Wheeling Nailers and Toledo Walleye.
Those who have purchased a space are invited to join the festivities along with Boomer and the Beast players and decorate their trees on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6:30PM. This event is free to all and open to the public, and will also be a time where those wishing to contribute to the Pitton’s Points for Pounds Foundation food drive can drop off non-perishable food items.
With the decorations complete, the concourse will be in full holiday spirit when the Beast play host to the Wichita Thunder on Friday December 5 at 7:30PM for the first of a three-game home stand. Game two will take place Saturday at 2:00PM, while the final contest will be on Sunday at 2:00PM against the Wheeling Nailers.
