Sens Assign Lajoie to Brampton

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO – The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, announce today that the Belleville Senators have assigned defenseman Max Lajoie to the Beast.

Drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Lajoie, a 20-year-old Calgary, Alberta native, is currently in his rookie season in the professional ranks. The former Swift Current Bronco appeared in ten games for Belleville and recorded four assists.

The 6’0” left-handed rearguard played three full seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Broncos from 2014-15 to 2016-17. In 203 career WHL contests, Lajoie showed versatility at both ends of the ice and scored 22 goals to accompany his 97 helpers for 119 points from the blue line.
