06/22/2017 2:00 PM -

In the weeks leading up to the 2017-18 ECHL season, keep your eyes peeled on as the Beast take you on a trip down memory lane and count down the Top 10 Moments of the 2016-17 Season, presented by Beast Authentics.

Every week, the Beast will recap one of the season’s most memorable moments, including an in-depth video hosted by the Beast’s in-game host, Nikki Jeffrey. Each week, the Beast will also be listing specially-selected official game-worn items on the team’s official eBay page, giving you the opportunity to own a piece of each incredible moment.

Top 10 Moments of the 2016-17 Season - #8 – The All-Star Season of David Vallorani

To say that Brampton Beast forward David Vallorani had a good season may be the understatement of the 2016-17 ECHL campaign.

The Hamilton, Ontario native wasted no time getting his record-breaking season underway, as he netted the first Beast goal of the season in the club’s Opening Day victory at WesBanco Arena over the Wheeling Nailers on October 15.

That goal set off what would be a memorable season for both the Beast and Vallorani. The forward would end the season with the team lead in points, finding the back of the net 32 times while adding 51 helpers for 83 points, setting a new club record for points in a season in the process.

Vallorani’s strong play didn’t go unnoticed by league officials. He was the lone Beast skater to participate in the CCM/ECHL All Star Classic in Glens Falls, New York in January and was a strong contender to skate away with the game MVP award with an eye-opening two-goal performance.

He maintained his breakneck pace through to the end of the season and was rewarded for his efforts. When the ECHL announced the All-ECHL Second All Star Team in April, it was no surprise that Vallorani’s name was listed, making him the first member of the Beast to earn this prestigious honour.

When the dust settled, Vallorani ended up turning in one of the most memorable seasons in franchise history, finishing in the top 10 in the league in goals (T10 – 32 goals), assists (T6 – 51 assists) and points (T4 – 83 points).

To commemorate the #8 Moment of the 2016-17 season, the Beast will be auctioning off David Vallorani’s ‘Route 22’ Game-Worn Warmup Jersey, worn in the preseason as well as before games throughout the 2016-17 ECHL season.

The auction is now LIVE. To place your bids, please visit the Beast’s official eBay page here: The auction will run for seven days starting on Thursday, June 22.
