Today, Brampton added defenseman Dan Milan, 21, to their CHL roster. The 6’3” Detroit, Michigan native will be the first American to play for the Beast. Milan will suit up in tomorrow’s 2pm game at the Powerade Centre versus the Allen Americans. The game, hosted by Molson, will honour the troops for Remembrance Day – reserve your seats at bramptonbeast.com or by calling (905) 564-1684.

Milan played two years of major junior in the QMJHL with both the Moncton Wildcats and Victoriaville Tigres, registering 49 points (16g, 33a) and 149 penalty minutes in 130 games. Milan was named to the QMJHL All-Star Rookie team as an 18-year old in 2010-11. He skated in all five playoff games for the Wildcats and in September, 2011, signed a three-year entry level contract with Tampa Bay.

In 2012-13, Milan started his professional career with Lightning’s ECHL affiliate, Florida Everblades. He contributed eight assists with a +1 rating in 43 games. The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect played 2 games with the Everblades this season, prior to signing with the Beast. Milan will wear #6 for the Beast.
